Everything we do, on one page

Residential plumbing only, priced flat-rate and put in writing before work starts. If a job isn’t listed here, call anyway — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s ours or name the shop it belongs to.

No. 1

Repairs & Fixtures

The everyday calls — the drip that finally got on your nerves, the toilet that runs at 2 a.m., the faucet that should have been swapped years ago. Most repair visits are diagnosed and done the same morning, and the truck carries the parts that fix nine out of ten of them.

What this covers

  • Leaking & burst pipes
  • Faucet repair & replacement
  • Toilet repair & replacement
  • Garbage disposals
  • Shower valves & trim
  • Shutoff valves & hose bibs
  • Dishwasher & icemaker lines
  • Leak detection

No. 2

Drains & Sewer

Slow kitchen sink to full main-line backup, we clear it, then show you why it happened. On main lines we run the camera after cabling — you see the same screen we do, and you keep the recording. Nobody sells you a dig you can’t verify.

What this covers

  • Kitchen & bath drain clearing
  • Main sewer line cabling
  • Camera inspections, recorded
  • Floor drains & laundry lines
  • Root intrusion clearing
  • Spot repairs & cleanouts

No. 3

Water Heaters

Repair first, when repair is honest — a thermocouple or element is a fraction of a new unit. When a tank is done, we say so, quote tank and tankless side by side, and install the next day in most cases. Old units leave with us, permits pulled where the township wants them.

What this covers

  • Water heater repair, all makes
  • Tank replacement (gas & electric)
  • Tankless installation & service
  • Annual flushes & anode checks
  • Expansion tanks & valves
  • Haul-away & permits included

Sump Pumps & Basements

West Michigan basements take on water — spring melt, August storms, and every thaw in between. We size pumps to the pit and the water table, not to whatever’s on the shelf, and we’re blunt about battery backups: if your basement is finished, you want one.

What this covers

  • Sump pump replacement & upsizing
  • Battery backup systems
  • Water-powered backup pumps
  • Check valves & discharge lines
  • Pit cleaning & float testing
  • Spring flood checkups

No. 5

Repipes & Remodels

Half the west side still runs on galvanized pipe from the ’50s — brown mornings and pressure that dies when the washer runs. Dan quotes every repipe himself, walks the house, and puts the number on paper. For kitchen and bath remodels we do the rough-in and setting, and play nicely with your contractor.

What this covers

  • Galvanized-to-copper or PEX repipes
  • Whole-house pressure restoration
  • Kitchen & bath rough-in
  • Fixture setting & hookup
  • Laundry & basement bath additions
  • Water service line replacement

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the noise, the puddle, or the smell — Marjorie’s heard it all, and she’ll book the right truck.

Hartwell & Sons Plumbing is a fictional company created for this ProjectWon demonstration. The number above sits in a block reserved for fiction — it doesn’t reach anyone. On a real Hartwell site, tapping this button would dial the shop immediately.
